Canvas Service Manager

We are looking for a Canvas Service Manager to join our dynamic team.

You will be responsible for the management and operational oversight of Canvas and other tools we support throughout their life cycle, including co-ordinating the work of multiple specialist teams and suppliers, and managing the overall performance of the service.

Reporting to the Head of Digital Education, your role will be vital in ensuring customer needs are understood and met at all stages of service delivery.

To be successful in this varied and interesting role, you will need to be passionate about user experience, strive for excellence, and ensure that what you deliver is sustainable and secure. You will have the ability to get teams working together effectively, an eye for detail, and be able inspire confidence through your communications. You will have a positive attitude with a flexible and adaptable approach to your work, and be comfortable when priorities need to change quickly.

This is a full time post, but flexible or part-time working will be considered.

Standard Grade 8.

Educational Development Consultant (maternity cover)

We are looking for an individual with consultancy skills who will work proactively with academic and professional services departments to support programme and assessment design.

You will generate and support improvements to the staff and student educational experience that promote authentic and inclusive teaching and assessment practices. You will also contribute to the suite of accredited programmes for the professional development of staff with teaching and learning support roles across Oxford.   

This is a 0.8 FTE post. It offers the opportunity for hybrid working (3 days per week in-person in Oxford).

Standard Grade 8.
