Delivery

In tutorials, a whiteboard is often used to draw diagrams to help brainstorming on a topic and identify the key aspects of the process that is being discussed. It is possible to replicate this using Microsoft whiteboard software in Teams tutorials.

Strengths

Drawing diagrams is useful when learning subjects such as physiology and pharmacology, because complex processes can be visualised and examined more easily than by using words alone. Research also suggests that drawing combined with explanation promotes the assimilation and accommodation of information.

Limitations

With the equipment I use (an iPad) additional equipment is needed in the form of a stylus.
