Learning technologists based at the CTL offer support with the use of WebLearn, the University’s Virtual Learning Environment. Please note that WebLearn is currently being replaced by Canvas which is why the support available for WebLearn is changing.
Due to low attendance numbers, the termly WebLearn staff courses and the face-to-face meeting of the WebLearn user group will no longer be offered. A new VLE User Group (for staff WebLearn, Canvas and Turnitin users) is currently being planned and will meet face-to-face on a regular basis.
To continue supporting staff users of WebLearn, the Centre for Teaching and Learning offers consultation on request. Please get in touch with us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The WebLearn User Group site is still active and we encourage you to make use of it. The site is ‘joinable’ (if your colleagues would like to join); and it is possible to ‘unjoin’ if you no longer wish to be a member (go to Site Info, and click ‘Unjoin’). This will automatically unsubscribe you from the associated mailing list.
The WebLearn User Group site has a mailing list that is open for postings by all site members, and messages will be received by all site members: email@example.com
We share useful and interesting news via the WebLearn blog.
Course books for formal three-hour WebLearn courses are available for self-study.
